Silhouettes and Zebra Shading Now Sold By Devine Blinds & Drapery

Just like anything in life you have to wait sometimes to get what you want. After some hard work, Devine Blinds & Drapery struck a deal to offer our customers are new line of silhouettes and also Zebra roller shades which offer customers a sheer look, but also with a privacy option.

Overall, this is a big move for Devine Blinds & Drapery as we already carry a large line of window coverings, but the addition of these new products, which also includes a very large, and newer selection of roller shades will help keep the company competitive and right in line with the competition.

The next question a lot of people ask us is about price point. I’m happy to say that these products are “High-End”, but the price isn’t. You do get what you pay for, but I firmly believe our pricing is “on-par” or even a bit better than the competition. We do add in a small percentage to our pricing to help pay for our great customer service, but this is something everyone needs and wants.

As President of Devine Blinds & Drapery, I’m very proud to announce that we as a company have gone GREEN to help protect our environment. It’s been a long process of negotiation to make sure our needs are met and now that they have, customers can be proud to buy from us as all of our packing materials in shipping and transfer are fully recycleable. 

Not only that, but being an offical and one of the top selling Graber Dealers in Canada we have put in place proceedures with our supplier to use recycled, renewable and reduced content materials over virgin sources. What this means is that less energy is used to produce our top quality products, there is also less waste and the workers themselves are producing product in a much better environment.

At Devine Blinds & Drapery we have what we like to call our “Best Experience Philosophy” and by giving our customers the best, we can now say that we are also giving the environment the best as well.

One of the most commen questions we get during the winter months is; “Do you sell energy efficent blinds to keep the heat inside when it’s cold out?”

Well, the answer is YES!! Living in Alberta is not easy during the winter and a lot of home builders insist on creating dwellings with huge windows. I hate to say it, but these windows contain very little energy efficency. There are some windows that you can buy that are triple pane and contain gas. These are basically the best you can buy and they will do a pretty good job on saving you some money, but the rest of the windows on the market are a 2 pane type and they do little if nothing. So what can we do for you? One of our best solutions is our cellular or honeycombe shades.

These shades have the ability to create an R-7 insulation factor on your windows (depending on what product you choose). To get an R-7 rating on a window is not easy because they allow so much heat out during the winter and also allow a lot of heat inside during the summer. That’s why these shades are awesome.

Our double cellular collection will not only give you added value to your home with their beauty, but they will also save you money and keep your home warmer during the brutal Alberta winter months.

The attached photo is of our exclusive Sun-Up/Sun-Down series. This allows you to put 2 shades on one window. In this picture, the homeowner decided they wanted to use a Sheer on the upper portion and then a blackout shade on the bottom. When it’s cold out, use the entire blackout shade to keep the heat in. You get privacy and you save money at the same time. Or, if you want to let the light in during a nice warm day, but still want some privacy, you can use the sheer section of the blind.

At the end of the day, you have the perfect solution to fit all of your needs. By the way, you don’t have to use a blackout shade with the Sun-up/Sun-down, you can bundle the shade with a double cellular light filtering product as well. The choices are limitless and that’s what we love about this exclusive blind which we’re very happy to have added to our collection.
